Senior Geek Computer Services

About Me

I am an active 65 year old with many skills and interests. I am currently staying busy with Senior Geek helping folks with their computer issues as well as working part time as a semi retired barber/stylist having owned and worked in several salons/studios since 1966 when I was first licensed.

When personal computers became popular in the early 1970's I quickly became interested and purchased a system. It wasn't long before I wanted to see what made them tick and built myself a new system. Soon my salon clients were asking me to build them a system and my computer business was started. Since that time I have also learned to design and develop websites which I enjoy, I am currently the webmaster for the Southern Arizona Hiking Club.

I am interested in photography, having received my first camera in the 1950's by selling several boxes of mail order Christmas cards. It was an Ansco 120 film camera. Over the years I have had many different cameras, too many to list here. I am currently using an Olympus E510 DSLR.  I invite you to visit my Gallery and view some of my favorite images.

I am also an avid hiker, and past board member of SAHC for three terms. After having obtained the coveted 400 Peak Award, I have grown weary of the long drives necessary to reach some of the peaks in Southern Arizona. I am currently working on the SAHC Canyon list, while also enjoying biking, and running in the local races sponsered by the Southern Arizona Roadrunners..

Shooting pool is another activity that I enjoy at least once a week at Udall Senior Addition.
